1 duct elbows and pullouts are examples of areas where more than one piece of insulation could be necessary.
2butt the insulation edges together and apply adhesive tape along the seam length of the insulation.
3additional strips of adhesive ta pe may be used perpendicutar to the seam of the insulation to hold the seam closed until the adhesive tape is applied along the entire seam.
4wind round the fiberglass tape around the insulation two times.
5put a knot in the end of the fiberglass tape to prevent fraying.
6secure the loose ends of the fiberglass tape.
7 some of the ducts in the air distribution system are wrapped with insulation material.CFR14 part 1231.312 mandates that insulation material installed in the fuselage as a replacement after september 2.2005 must meet the flame propagation requirements of CFR 14 part 25.856 effective september 2.2003

练习下，欢迎参考。译文如下：
1. 导管弯头和拔出头部位可能是需要多处绝缘的例子。
2. 把绝缘边缘对接到一起，然后沿着绝缘接缝长度施加粘接胶带。
3. 垂直于绝缘接缝使用另外的粘接胶带条带把接缝固紧，直到粘接胶带布置满整个接缝。
4. 绕着绝缘部位缠绕上玻璃纤维条带两圈。
5. 在玻璃纤维条带末端打上结，以防止磨损。
6. 固定住玻璃纤维条带散开的末端。
7. 空气分配系统内的一些导管包裹着绝缘材料。CFR14部分1231.312授权2005年9月2日后安装于机身的绝缘材料更换件必须满足2003年9月2日起效的CFR14部分25.856的火焰蔓延要求。
