SUBJECT: COLLINS ENHANCED DIGITAL FLIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM
MODEL: 737NG
REFERENCE (S):

a)    Airplane Configuration Bulletin B-S001-9906302, “Autoflight System Enhancements and New System Supplier for the 737-NG Airplanes”, dated
2 August 1999

b)    Airplane Configuration Bulletin B-S001-2001005169, “Autoflight System Enhancements and New System Supplier for the 737-NG Airplanes”, dated 1 June 2001。

c)    Airplane Configuration Bulletin B-S001-2002007420, “Autoflight Enhancements and New System Supplier for the 737-NG Airplanes”, dated 22 October 2002.

SUMMARY:

This service letter is to advise 737NG operators on availability of the new Rockwell Collins flight control computer (FCC) and mode control panel (MCP) that replace the Honeywell built components in production . Operators were notified of the Rockwell Collins FCC and MCP production incorporation in the reference a), b) and c) Airplane Configuration Bulletins (ACB).
本服务信函建议737NG用户使用罗克韦尔新品FCC和MCP,新品符合波音所要的各种要求。

BACKGROUND:
Boeing has enhanced the autoflight system on the 737NG by providing availability of, as an option, Category IIIb all weather capability, and integration of the autothrottle computer into the FCC. As part of the enhancement process, Rockwell Collins was selected as the supplier for the enhanced FCC and MCP.
波音要求在737NG自动飞行系统中加入增强功能,如:三类B全天侯能力或FCC综合自动油门功能

DISCUSSION:

The Rockwell Collins P/N 822-1604-101 FCC and P/N 822-1567-101 / -102 MCP were designed such that the operation will be transparent to flight crew and line maintenance personnel familiar with the existing Honeywell parts. However, on airplanes designated in “Applicability” above, there will not be a separate A/T computer as this function is incorporated within the FCC.
熟悉霍尼韦尔设备的机组或维修人员都能知道罗克韦尔P/N 822-1604-101 FCC和P/N 822-1567-101 / -102 MCP的使用。

The Rockwell Collins P/N 822-1604-151 FCC includes a rudder servo card and is installed only if the CAT IIIb option is purchased. CAT IIIb capability is functionality not provided by the Honeywell system and there will be some operational differences associated with this new functionality.
罗克韦尔P/N 822-1604-151 FCC内有工个方向舵伺服卡用于三类B能力。
Existing Honeywell FCCs and MCPs cannot be reworked into the Rockwell Collins parts.
现存的霍尼韦尔设备无法变为罗克韦尔部件。

The Rockwell Collins P/N 822-1567-101 MCP is basic and has speed and altitude switches covered. The Rockwell Collins P/N 822-1567-102 MCP has speed and altitude switches operational.
P/N 822-1567-101 MCP为基本型,速度高度开关是盖好的,P/N 822-1567-102 MCP上的速度和高度开关工作。
The Rockwell Collins P/N 822-1588-101 Rudder Servo is installed only if the CAT IIIb option is purchased.
如果购买了CAT IIIb能力,才会装有P/N 822-1588-101 Rudder Servo

822-1588-101 rudder servo is a seperate unit installed in the tail of A/C for rudder control. This is part of CATIIIb configuration. In another word, by installing this unit, you can do autopilot CATIIIb landing. Also, the FCC-730 should be different part number to include a rudder servo drive card for this configuration. While, I don't think you can do CATIIIb landing anywhere in China due to airport facility inadequacy and regulartory rules(Beijing/Shanghai just CATII). Also, Doing CATIIIb autopilot landing requires extensive system inspection periodically to ensure the system CATIIIb capability.
方向舵伺服器是一个装在飞机尾部的独立组件,是三类进近构型要求的,换句话讲只要装有这个组件,就可以进行三类进近,同时FCC-730会有一个新件号,内部包含一个驱动卡。但目前国内由于机场设备不足以及当局的条例,即使在北京上海也只能做二类进近。同时,进行三类自动驾驶着陆的机场还需要进行周期性检查以确保三类着陆要求。)

BOEING ACTION:
Production installation of the P/N 822-1604-101 FCC and 822-1567-101, -102 MCP on 737NG airplanes is accomplished by PRR 38325-2, effective line position 1270, 1272, then 1278 and on.
安装P/N 822-1604-101 FCC and 822-1567-101, -102 MCP的737NG飞机为1270,1272,及1278以上。

INTERCHANGEABILITY:

The Rockwell Collins MCP and Honeywell MCP are two-way interchangeable on all 737NG airplanes with the following exceptions:
Rockwell Collins MCP 与 Honeywell MCP在所有737NG上双向互换除以下情况外:

The Honeywell parts are not interchangeable with the Rockwell Collins part if the MDA Altitude Select Option is activated. (If the Honeywell part is inadvertently installed on an airplane with the MDA Altitude Select Option activated, the MDA altitude will not appear as an automatic detent during altitude selection.)
如果MDA(最小下降高度)选择功能已激活,Honeywell部件将不能代替Rockwell Collins部件,如果没注意安装了 Honeywell部件,当自动高度选择时MDA高度不出现。
If the CATIIIb option is activated and the Honeywell parts are installed, the highest autoland capability will be LAND 2 as indicated by the NO LAND 3 annunciation. (Status downgrade will be automatic.)

As indicated above under DISCUSSION, the Rockwell Collins FCC/MCP operation was developed to be transparent to flight crew and line maintenance personnel. This goal was achieved for all functionality provided by both the Honeywell and Rockwell Collins systems. If the CAT IIIb option is purchased operators will receive functionality not previously available and this new functionality will present some operational differences as compared to the Honeywell system.

The Rockwell Collins FCCs and Honeywell FCCs are one-way interchangeable by ship set (in pairs). Airplanes delivered prior to line position 1278 (except line numbers 1270 and 1272) can use either the Honeywell FCCs or the Rockwell Collins FCCs. The Rockwell Collins FCCs in this application will replace only the Honeywell FCCs and autothrottle use will require that an autothrottle external to the FCCs be installed. Autopilot operation with the Rockwell Collins parts installed in place of the Honeywell parts will be transparent to flight crew and line maintenance personnel.
Rockwell Collins FCCs和 Honeywell FCCs单向互换,在交付号1278之前的(不包括1270)飞机都可使用。在FCC之外安装有自动油门的Honeywell FCCs可以用Rockwell Collins FCCs替换,自动驾驶部分的操作同Honeywell FCCs。

Due to the integration of the A/T into the Rockwell Collins FCC, Honeywell FCCs cannot be installed in place of the Rockwell Collins FCCs on airplanes line position 1270 and on (except for 1271, 1273-1277). Installation of a Honeywell FCC in place of the Rockwell Collins FCC on these airplanes will result in the Honeywell FCC failing.
Interchangeability between the Rockwell Collins and Honeywell parts will be reflected in the April 2003 Master IPC. This data will propagate to subsequently released customized IPCs, for affected operators, depending on IPC revision cycles.
由于内部集成了A/T,生产号1270以上的(不包括1271和1273-1277)Rockwell Collins FCC不能用Honeywell FCCs代替。相关信息见April 2003 Master IPC及以后各版IPC。

As indicated in the reference a) and b) ACBs, partial provisions for Category IIIb all weather capability were incorporated in production on airplanes line position 596 and on. (Airplane line position 596 was retained as a test airplane. Airplane line position 597 delivered in June 2000).
按照a)和b)要求,飞机线号596以上应结合三类B全天侯要求,其中596是一架测试机,597号飞机交付于2000年6月。

Service Bulletins may be ordered for retrofitting Category IIIb capability on airplanes delivered line position 596 and on.
SB要求596以上均有三类B要求。

Airplanes delivered prior to line position 596 may be retrofitted with Category IIIb all weather capability but would require structural modifications needed to support the function.
596之前的飞机可以通过结构改装使之具有三类B全天侯能力。

Operators interested in retrofitting Category IIIb all weather capability can contact the Boeing Technical Services and Modification group through normal channels for offerability, cost and schedule information.
希望具有上述能力的用户可以联系波音技术服务和改装中确定改装细则。

楼上的也没必要将内容贴出来吧,毕竟楼主能拿出资料来供大家分享已经不错了,而且还是人家“(呕血力作)”,况且楼主也卖得不贵啊。

我们机队现在有两种MCP面板,700的是霍尼韦尔的4082260-937,800的是罗克韦尔的822-1567-101,IPC上两种面板互换性是:

822-1567-101 i/w 4082260-937 except installation of 822-1567-101 is required to maintain full functionality on acft with the MDA altitude select option activated and acft equipped for CAT IIIB autoland. Use of 4082260-937 as substitute on CAT IIIB acft will result in an automatic downgrade of autoland status accompanied by a "no land 3" annunciation.
只有在IIIB类全天候着陆和MDA最小高度选择功能全部启用时,不可互换

最新的SL-737-22-052-C的互换要求跟LZ的帖子一样,意思似乎是CAT IIIB或MDA选择只要启用一个,两种MCP就不能互换。CAT IIIB这个貌似全中国都不用,那就无视。不知道这个MDA功能怎么确定飞机上是否使用,电子菜鸟,求教大拿
