Examples:

STE: The door is made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic.

(“Fiber” is American English spelling.)


Non-STE: Change the colour of the display.
(“Colour” is British English spelling.)

STE: Change the color of the display.

(“Color” is American English spelling.)
