哪位兄弟知道下面文字里红字“constituent assembly harnesses”是什么意思？先谢了！！！！！！

ESPM 20-32-23 B. General Harness Marking

(1) Identification of harness characteristics This harness identification prevents the risk of harness inversion.
   The labels  E0248 used are white with data written in black color.
   This identification type on harnesses must give the data that follows:
   (Ref. Fig.  Harness Functional Identification - Marking on Harnesses which are Constituent/Not  Constituent Assembly  SHEET 1)
         (a) For a harness which is a  constituent assembly :
            - Part number of the harness (for example L92998125000XX)
            - Constituent assembly  code (for example LB682) - Harness number (for example 8125VB)
            - Serial number (for example SER PL1001) written by the harness manufacturer with an indelible marker pen.
         (b) For a harness which is not a  constituent assembly :
            - Part number of the harness (for example L92998125000XX)
            - Harness number (for example 8125VB)
            - Serial number (for example SER PL1001) written by the harness manufacturer with an indelible marker pen.

不知道怎么翻译，但意思应该是 Constituent assembly harnesses，表示这部分线束和其它 Constituent assembly harnesses共同构成一个大线束。 Constituent assembly harnesses是大线束中的一个分支、一部分

先谢谢您的帮助，您说的这个应该是harness的定义，能够整个拿下来的带插头的线束都叫harness
一个harness里的一个分支应该叫一个group

但是手册里没解释什么叫Constituent assembly和not Constituent assembly，不知道是不是个什么专用的词组，单从字面的意思又分析不出个所以然来
