A Sol Lineas Aereas Saab 340A, registration LV-CEJ performing flight 8R-5428 from Neuquen,NE to Comodoro Rivadavia,CB (Argentina) with 19 passengers and 3 crew, was enroute when the crew declared emergency at 20:50L (23:50Z) and disappeared from radar south of Los Menucos,RN (Argentina). The aircraft was later discovered crashed about 35km southeast of Los Menucos. All on board perished.

The airline reported the crew had declared emergency. The wreckage was found 25km southwest of Los Menucos.

Argentina's Authorities reported the crash site at S41°06 W67°56 (S41.10 W67.93) 35km southeast of Los Menucos about 600 meters from the main road Los Menucos - Prahuaniyeu (Road 8 ) on a private field.

The local weather station reported light drizzle at temperatures around 4 degrees C (no Metars available for Los Menucos Airfield).

Argentina's National Meteorologic Services had issued a significant weather warning for the control zone of Comodoro Rivadavia (including the accident site) indicating severe icing between FL070 and FL180 with turbulence below FL150.

Aviation sources in Argentina report that the crew had requested to descend out of icing conditions just before radar contact was lost.

失事客机是一架萨博（Saab）340涡轮螺旋桨飞机，能承载30-36人。失事地点位于Prahuaniyeu镇附近，当地人烟稀少、交通不便。

航空公司发言人Horacio Darre说：“找到幸存者的可能性很小。”

阿根廷航空主管部门尚未对此发表评论。（完）
