The American Chamber of Commerce in the People"s Republic of China (AmCham-China) represents U.S. companies and individuals doing business in China. The chamber membership comprises more than 1400 individuals representing more than 650 companies. The American Chamber of Commerce in China has grown apace with the dramatic influx of American businesses into the China market. Although based in Beijing,the chamber has affiliates in other cities and its members have operations throughout the country.

The American Chamber of Commerce PRC is now looking to fill the position:

Requirements:

[li]Bachelor degree with at least two-year experience in project management or business administration [/li][li]Prior working experience in the aviation industry or US/China government agencies [/li][li]Very fluent in speaking & writing both English and Chinese [/li][li]Proficient in operating application software such as Microsoft Office and Windows [/li][li]Proactive； good at teamwork,communications skills,and self confidence [/li][li]Able to work efficiently to meet deadlines under pressure,attention to detail [/li][li]Knowledge of current US and Chinese aviation policies and regulations highly valued[/li]Job Description:

[li]Responsible for managing program planning,coordination,resource planning,and communicating with both U.S. and Chinese government officials and aviation companies for the US-China Aviation Cooperation Program (ACP). This position reports to the ACP Executive Director and works closely with the other Program Manager. [/li][li]This position involves frequent oral and face to face communications with 42 US aerospace company members and CAAC headquarters. Communication is in both English and Chinese. Position involves helping ACP leadership develop policy and programs that are win-win for both the US and China in the civil aviation sector.[/li]Responsibilities:

[li] Developing and managing relationship and joint programs with Chinese civil aviation authorities [/li][li] Assisting ACP committees,including airspace and environment,airport and manufacture and airworthiness,on developing work programs,managing current programs,TDA grant applications,membership,etc. [/li][li] Managing new projects； working new areas suggested by ACP or CAAC leadership； managing coordination with US government (USTDA,US Embassy,etc.) [/li][li] Managing the new member company recruitment [/li][li] Managing ACP financial reporting & budgeting [/li][li] Backing up current staff members duties.
