[25设备装饰] 使用贴纸修复737NG天空内饰行李架饰面损伤

AMM 25章里有很多针对客舱内饰的修复程序，但如果不是专门的人，基本接触不到。

737NG-FTD-25-18003，Light Valance Shield Assembly

Background：

Operators are experiencing laminate damages on the panels above the overhead bins during loading and unloading of passenger luggage. The bins may not open wide enough to allow stowing bags vertically resulting in damages to adjacent panels. The damages to the light shield decorative surface include torn/peeled off laminate, scratches and scuff marks. The Cove bullnose and Center Overhead Stowage seal common to strongback panels have been found coming loose and tearing off due to luggage abuse.

Interim Action：

Boeing released decorative patch part 412A1811-4B to provide a temporary repair option for customers (March 2018), this is 18 inch X 12 inch sheet that includes multiple shapes to cover various damages from .75 inch to 2 inch wide.

The repair patch P/N 412A1811-4B is made of Tedlar Laminate (BAC5596 Type 14) with a spanssure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing BMS 5-91, having the same texture and color as the decorative laminate of the light valence. The repair patch can be peeled and applied to the laminate damages. This BAC5596 Type 14 is listed in 737 Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) 25-00-00/801 for spanssure sensitive application.

The patch removal/application procedures can be accomplished per 737 AMM Task 25-00-00-300-802:

a. Remove the damaged Decorative Tedlar piece(s) as required per Task 25-00-00-900-801 (Decorative Tedlar Removal/Installation).

b. Peel and bond repair patch P/N 412A1811-4B to size applicable to match the spanpared bond surface (overlapped bond is acceptable) per Decorative Surfaces Repair under Task 25-00-00-300-802, Apply Decorative Tedlar Laminate with a Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (adhesive-back).

Since the removal/application procedures for the patch are found in Task 25-00-00-300-802 and addressed for a customer specific issue (not a common maintenance practice for the fleet), they will not be added to the 737 AMM.

Final Action：

The production improvement will consist of two design changes to address the two different issues seen in service.

Change 1: A new injection molded light shield with embedded texture and color. This new design will be made from polycarbonate material, where the color will be integral to the plastic material and the texture will be applied during the molding process.

Change 2: A new profile of the bullnose seal that is more durable by design and eliminates the need for a seal retainer.
