NG更新导航数据库

去年刚报道的新员工，没自己独立更新导航数据库的经验，刚学完机型，今晚排班更新导航数据库，按照工卡手册来，再左右fmc传输时显示crossload fail。但是左边显示的是更新的版本，请教各位师兄前辈这怎么回事。

这边是有机型才可以签工卡签本的，所以新员工都要先学机型

The CROSSLOAD FAIL message is shown if the FMC crossload fails. Possible
causes for a failure are loss of communication between the FMC’s, loss of power
to one FMC, or failure of the FMC receiving the data. A second attempt may be
made to do the crossload. Select the INDEX prompt to return to the FMC BITE
page. Then select the CROSSLOAD> prompt to repeat the crossload operation.

重新传输没有出现任何界面。进入fmc界面后显示空白，没有crossload选项

我知道，工卡上也有提示，但是进入fmc界面后是空白的，没有任何可以操作的选项。

没结果，一样是空白的，师傅说已经交叉传输成功了，因为如果左右版本不一样会显示两边导航数据库版本。但是这种情况左右导航数据库版本显示的是空白。我也不知道啥情况

这个不好说，一般情况下如果交输页面没有提示说明两侧的FMC数据都是相同的，曾经也常遇到这个问题，但是导航数据库应该是是没有问题的。

Description
Several 737NG operators have reported when updating to the latest JEP4 World Wide Navigation database (NDB), the FMC CDU displayed the "CROSSLOAD FAIL" message.

Investigation revealed that when a crossload of very large NDBs is attempted and the receiving FMC is a H/W P/N 10-62225-003, the FMC that initiated the crossload "times out" while waiting for the receiving FMC to respond after the crossload is completed. The JEP4 NDB continues to increase in size and is currently at 3,797 K words. The maximum NDB capacity is 3,968 Kwords.

Lab test indicates for this condition that the crossload is actually completed when the "CROSSLOAD FAIL" message is displayed. However the message is displayed due to the time out condition.

Status
This condition will be corrected in the next planned FMC software update. The next scheduled update is U10.8 which is presently in planning and there is no committed program or release schedule in place at the present time.

Interim Action
If the "CROSSLOAD FAIL" message is displayed, confirmation that it is a nuisance message is possible by selecting the "INDEX" prompt at 6L on the FMC CDU, entering FMC BITE and selecting the "CROSSLOAD" prompt at 6R on the FMCS BITE page. If no database names are displayed, then both FMCs have the same databases and the database crossloaded successfully.

Alternatively, if the "CROSSLOAD FAIL" message is displayed, confirmation that the NDB is loaded can be accomplished by accessing the FMC "IDENT" page on the FMC CDU and moving the FMC Source Select Switch from "Normal" to "Both on Left" and "Both on Right" and verifying the correct new NDB part number is displayed on the IDENT page for all source select switch positions.

If the NDB identified on the FMC IDENT page on the receiving FMC does not agree with the NDB that was crossloaded for each source position, it will be required to load the database into the FMCs using a data loader.

Final Action
A software fix for this condition is under investigation and once defined, it will be incorporated into the next FMC Operational Software update when scheduled. At the present time there is no committed program to update the FMC software, however, it is anticipated that the Update 10.8 FMC software package will be approved in the near future and this software will include a fix to address this nuisance crossload fail message.
