CherryMax products may be identified by the “rocking T” manufacturer’s identification.Upside down rocking T is used to identify nominal (standard diameter) CherryMax, while conventional rocking T identifies the oversized CherryMax. In addition to the manufacturer’s identification, maximum grip capability is indicated in 1/16” increments. This example is of a nominal diameter CherryMax with a grip range of .251” - .312”. The rocking T is used on all Cherry products that require identification, however the position indicating nominal and oversize diameters does not apply to CherryLock products.

CherryLock NAS1398/NAS1399 Wire Draw rivets feature a long, partially serrated stem. They must be installed with double action tool systems such as the G784 power riveter and H681-series pulling heads. An example of the part number for this product is NAS1399C4-2. The “-” between the diameter number, in this case 4, and the maximum grip length, 2, indicates a double action fastener.
