我想知道结冰探测器是怎么个原理

我只知道CRJ200、CRJ700和波音BBJ有结冰探测器，可能飞机都有，只是选装的问题吧。下面是CRJ700结冰探测器的大致原理：
The ice detector is a self−contained microprocessor containing two independent software modules, housed in an aluminum casing.A nickel alloy probe is exposed to the ambient airflow. The ice detector uses an ultrasonic axial vibrating probe to sense if an icing condition is present. The oscillation frequency of the circuit is found through a natural resonant frequency of the sensor tube which is 40 khz. In icing conditions, ice collects on the sensing probe. The ice causes the frequency of the sensing probe to decrease. The ice detector senses the change in frequency. When the frequency decreases to a specified value, the ice detector deicesthe unit strut and probe through internal thermal heaters. When the probe is deiced, the sensing probe temperature decreases quickly and is ready to sense ice formation again. This cycling process is repeated as long as the ice detector is in an icing environment. The ice detector keeps count of the number of icing/deicing cycles of the sensor element. When two probe icing/deicingcycles have been recorded, the detector provides output signals for a period of 60 seconds. If any additional icing/deicingcycle occurs within that time interval, the 60 second count starts again from zero seconds for another 60 second period.以上是摘自CRJ700SDS手册，我也不太懂，因为没搞过有结冰探测器的飞机，只是我们公司有CRJ，听说过结冰探测器这个东东。我看了一下大体的意思是：结冰后会改变探测器的某个频率，当频率大于某个值后，会提醒机组将各种加热打开，而结冰探测器自身来加热的。听我们队长跟我讲过，结冰探测器是感受振动来加热的。在地面摸两下就会感觉到烫手，我没敢尝试，万一烫着就不划算了。我也就知道这么多了，LZ好好研究研究上边的手册内容吧。
