Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Tianjin

Report line:

Job Descriptions：

To lead the Operations team in turning around nacelle repair within the required Turn Around Time in a safe and cohesive shop environment.

Responsibilities:

The Production Manager shall be in-charge of all operations activity in the workshop. Other responsibilities include but not limited to:

ü         Planning for Operations–Workshop Budget

ü         Recommend the acquisition of shop equipment to support production

ü         Workforce supervision

ü         Employee development and performance assessment

ü         Ensure effective Standard hours & Labour hours Clocking

ü         Manpower planning and deployment

ü         Improvement of Work methods

ü         Oversee & ensure the facility is in good condition

ü         Plan & ensure shop tooling / consumables spending is within budget

ü         Ensure good discipline in workshop employees,

ü         Effective housekeeping & shop floor safety

ü         Ensure a harmonious and safe environment for the technicians

Requirements and Experience:

ü         Bachelor in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering

ü         Minimum 10 years of workshop supervisory experience in an Aerospace MRO environment

ü         Exhibit good and ethical leadership ability

ü         Understand the lean process and concept

ü         Structural repair exposure in a MRO environment

ü         Understand fitting techniques in mechanical and structural assembly

ü         Knowledge and experience in production standards and tolerance principles

ü         Strong problem solving ability

ü         Effective in the use of Computer Tools

ü         Able to read Engineering Blue Prints.

ü         Proficient in the use of MS Office

ü         Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing)

ü         Good positive work attitude and communication, interpersonal skills

ü         Possess CAAC Signatory Certificate/CCAR 66 “Maintenance Management Personnel”
